Orders less than R1000 = R180
Rural areas may have an extra charge. Please request a quote.

The delivery service cost is dependent on your location and the size of the products ordered. Most of our items are large and these items are generally more expensive to courier outside of Gauteng. Contact us for a quote for:

Some areas, like farms, agricultural holdings, outlying and rural areas, may result in an addition to the standard fee. We will be able to confirm the fee upon confirmation of your exact delivery address and location.
Offloading and carrying of your order:
We guarantee the product to be in the originally manufactured condition at the time of the unloading at your delivery address.
In most instances our drivers will offer to assist in placing the items in required rooms, this is a courtesy service and is not covered under the abovementioned guarantee. Any damages from the time of goods being offloaded at the clients' premises is at the risk of the buyer. Buyers must ensure that the items are safely carried and placed inside their premises.
Drivers may under no circumstances remove doors or fixtures from a dwelling or office to fit items. Neither are they permitted to hoist furniture to higher floors or through windows.
That Couch Place cannot take responsibility if items bought do not fit through the doors or in the required spaces. Please ensure that you checked the size of entrances and available space against the measurements of the product.

- Buffalo Fabric : Easy to clean micro fiber upholstery fabric, great for families with kids or pets. Looks classy and handles spills like a champ.
- Poly linen : Woven durable and breathable polyester upholstery fabric, ideal if you want a natural look with less maintenance.
- Velvet : Luxurious and cosy, but best if you’re gentle with your furniture.
- Bamboo Fabric : This soft touch bed fabric is spun and knit from long, strong, soft fibers derived from the pulp of bamboo plants

Guarantees and Warranties
- All our couches have a 1-year warranty for the stitching and the frame
- Bed warranties are dependent on the bed you have purchased as these vary between manufacturers. Please check the description on our website
- All tables, chairs headboards, accessories and other items not explicitly mentioned have a 7 day guarantee and a 30 day warranty
- Warranties do not include free collections nor loan goods
- The warranty includes a 30 - day warranty on foam for factory defects - please inspect your product at the time of delivery / collection
- Fabrics do not have warranties
- Please refer to the specific item for description of recommended use of couches and beds
Guarantee Explained
During the Guarantee period, any problems with your bed will be rectified at the manufacturer's expense.
Kindly note however that the guarantee excludes any transport costs. Should the client require delivery of the replacement product/collection of the old one, this will be for their account.
The manufacturer will either replace or repair your bed in accordance with their guarantee policy. The guarantee covers poor workmanship and/or material defects only and valid on unused items in original packaging returned within 7 days of receipt. Warranty Explained
Your warranty is in effect after your bed's guarantee period has elapsed. After which, the manufacturer will replace or repair your bed at their discretion.
The warranty period varies between manufacturer and model. We have listed beds specific warranty periods – this you can find on the bed's information page.
Warranty period varies between manufacturers and models and can range anywhere from between 1 to 16 years.
An example of how the warranty cost will be determined by the manufacturer (as mentioned before, this will differ from manufacturer to manufacturer).
After the initial warranty period the manufacturer will levy a service charge of 1/15th (in the case of a 15 year warranty) of their recommended retail purchase price at the time of complaint, multiplied by the number of years it's been in use.
IMPORTANT
- Transport costs are not included under the warranty and will be levied if transport is required.
- The warranty period is not an indication of the life span of your bed, but rather the quality. Generally, the higher the warranty, the better the quality.
- The manufacturer will replace or repair at their discretion. Older or discontinued models will have to be replaced.
- The warranty does not cover fair wear and tear. The warranty covers defects and /or poor workmanship only.
- The warranty rebate in the event of replacement will only be applied against the same model bed, or current equivalent.
- The manufacturer will only accept a guarantee or warranty claim provided that the product is in a hygienic and clean condition and has been used in accordance to their usage specifications (max weight recommendations where applicable, usage etc), and has been used for the purpose intended and maintained as per their maintenance guidelines. (turning, rotation etc.)
